When you head to the dealership, there are a lot of performance-oriented vehicles at your fingertips for your choosing. Even when you limit it to one brand or another, there are generally at least a couple of different selections that will give your need for speed a nice little quenching. One of the most impressive performance vehicles, actually, the most impressive performance vehicle of the bunch in Chevrolet’s stable, is one that people don’t really think of all that often and that’s because you’re not even allowed to drive it on the street. We’re talking, of course, about Chevrolet’s COPO Camaro.

This time, we ride along with the guys over at Urban Hillbilly Action Videos as they catch up with one impressive example of the COPO that is really out there ripping on it. Now, this one isn’t necessarily 100% stock, but from what we can see, the vast majority of what you see with the vehicle did come with it out of the factory. You see, straight out of the box, for the lucky 69 people who were able to get their hands on a 2013 COPO, the machines all looked a little something like this. At the time of purchase, new owners would have the choice to go with a naturally aspirated seven liter or a couple of smaller engines with boosted on board. It just so turns out that this owner wanted both.

Follow along with the video below that showcases this 7.0L LS7 powered COPO Camaro that the owner wanted to add a little bit of boost to, so it’s topped off with a Whipple supercharger for when things really get ugly. When the car makes its way down the track, this thing sounds downright violent and the results certainly do follow.

You have to admit that this car is truly a treat for all the senses as it digs down deep, hooks hard, and launches its way to a couple impressive passes. Peep it below and be sure to tell us what you think of this beast.
