The return of two popular, Mopar Hemi-powered Roadkill project cars: Mike Finnegan’s “Blasphemi” 1955 Chevy Gasser and David Freiburger’s “Rumble Bee” 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This time the guys are headed to the annual Roadkill Nights event powered by Dodge, in Pontiac, Michigan, with legal street drag racing on Woodward Avenue.
These two became celebrities in the muscle car world mainly because of their incredible love for the muscle car, and secondary because of their vast knowledge of them.
Blasphemi is Finnegan’s favorite car ever and its supercharged, 535ci Hemi takes a real beating in the episode. Freiburger’s Super Bee has been with him for 35 years, yet in this case he’s compelled to blast it with nitrous through its 484ci Hemi for the first time.
If you’ve seen a couple of their shows you know that none of the before mentioned goes easy, because as you already know their machines are, well not the most reliable ones and they tend to spill their guts or decide to stop working at the worst possible times.
Will their ability to get stuff fixed surpass the ability of the Blasphemi and Rumble Bee to break down, well watch the video and find out.
